A micro niche is a very targeted, specific product line within a market. You could almost say it is a niche within a niche. Store Coach recommends selecting a micro niche and building your e-commerce store entirely focused on that tiny niche.

Let's look at an example. Pet supplies is a broad product market. Within that market, one niche is dog supplies. Within that niche, there are dozens of micro niches: dog houses, dog clothing, dog beds, dog gates, dog collars, and so on. Store Coach suggests choosing one of these micro niches (a niche within the dog supplies niche) and building your store around it. This allows you to focus your SEO efforts on keyword phrases specific to that tiny micro niche.
