DENIED Microsft Ad Center (Bing)   January 28, 2012, 02:57 PM

I just wanted to confirm for you Coach and everyone else the reason why Bing or possible other shopping portals might deny your account. As far as I know, it will only be microsoft, but who knows.

Hi Steve,

It appears that your account was denied because your business is not based in US. Currently, only US-based merchants are allowed to advertise with us on Bing Shopping. If you feel our decision is not valid, please provide me with an EIN (Employer Identification Number) and other documents and I will resubmit your application for another review

Yes, we probably need to make this more clear in the training, but you'll want to get into your regions version of the free shopping portals. For you I believe that will be:

Thanks Coach!

I have set up my Ciao account and awaiting confirmation from them. Also got my The Find feed done. For some reason I was so confused why it would not accept several email addresses. Turned out its a CAPITALS issue. Don't use capitals when you fill out your email and it will process fine.

Have a good weekend  Cheesy

Note to Coach: I just had this problem too - the training article says the logo upload is optional for Bing - but it's not now. Both of my logo versions (regular and small) are still too big for their requirements and I have to get an even smaller one.

Okay, I'll edit that in the article right now.. Thanks for the info.

BTW, here's a video on resizing an image.

I can't get Bing to upload my file, it keeps saying that it's the wrong size. I edited my image in Paint doing the exact 88x31 pixels as well as a few others and nothing works. I noticed that the image itself got quite distorted anyway. I asked Kevin if he could re-size my original, I don't know if that will help or not. Any suggestions? I hate Bing right now.

Attach the image here or provide a link to somewhere that we can grab it.. I'm sure someone will gladly do it for you.. Thanks.

Send me a PM and I'll give you an e-mail address where you can send it. It'll take me a minute to resize it in a non-distorting way.
