Daily Search Volume for Keyword Phrases

HIGHLIGHTS:
  • PLEASE NOTE: Since shooting this video, we've made some changes to the location and layout/design of Coach's Keyword Tool. The tool is now located at Coach's Tools > Keyword Tool. Even though the layout/design has changed slightly, the tool still works the same as shown in this & the next video.

  • You need to choose 1-2 specific keyword phrase(s) within a micro niche; so in Chapter 1 you're not just choosing a product line, you're choosing 1-2 keyword phrases (among dozens of relevant keyword phrases that may relate to that product line)

  • A keyword phrase is simply the word or words searchers enter in Google when looking for a product

  • Google treats each unique keyword phrase completely separately from all other keyword phrases, regardless of how similar they are

  • You will be building your store around a specific keyword phrase (or 2) within a micro niche market

  • You should NOT go after all the keyword phrases that are relevant to the micro niche; there may be dozens of "relevant" keyword phrases for any given type of product, but you should pick just 1 or 2

  • Coach's Keyword Tool shows the number of searches done in Google each day for any keyword phrase

  • As you look through the list of keyword phrase ideas, look for those you could build a store around (i.e. keyword phrases that pass the 'Big 3' test as well as the smaller practical factors, and which demonstrate an intent to buy a product)

  • Look for keyword phrases that are bold and green; these keyword phrases have a high enough daily search volume to build a store around

  • Click the 'Save' icon to save a keyword phrase to your personal Saved Keyword Phrases list

  • You'll see in the next video that daily search volume is NOT the only thing that matters (it's only 1 of 3 major factors to consider for choosing a keyword phrase)
