Maximize the "User Experience" for Your Visitors

- User experience is extremely important to Google - what better way for Google to know whether its users like the results it's showing them than to ask the users?
- Google "asks" users how they like websites by tracking several important user metrics, the most important of which are:
- Bounce rate is the percentage of people that "bounce" from your site without visiting a single additional page on your site - the lower, the better!
- Page views refers to the number of pages the average visitor looks at while on your site - the higher, the better!
- Time on site is the amount of time (minutes & seconds) the average visitor spends on your site before leaving - the higher, the better!
- There are 4 things you should do to enhance the user experience:
- Make sure the content of the visitor's landing page (i.e. the first page they see on your site) matches the text of the link (whether it's a search result on Google OR a backlink) the visitor clicked on - this ensures that visitors actually see what they expect to see
- Show useful, interesting, valuable content that visitors actually want to see - use videos as much as possible
- Have straightforward, simple site navigation - allow users to browse by category, brand, price, etc. - Zulu Cart does all this for you
